Jul 02, 2009 · The Superloader 3 is an LTO2 drive, a few years old. The BIOS on startup on the new server also regognizes the Superloader to be on the SCSI ID that I set it to be on. I can't blame the hardware or the operating system at this point, I hope there is something I'm missing in BE! Please help, Kurt

Oct 30, 2019 · Hi All, I have recently installed Veeam Backup & Replication (v9.x) in an effort to try and get us away from Veritas Backup Exec. But since installing it I have had nothing but issues with writing copies of our disk backups to the Superloader 3 device. Nov 17, 2020 · I have a Dell R630 server running Windows Server 2019 and a Quantum Superloader 3 LTO-8. They are connected via a mini-SAS cable running into a LSI SAS2 2308 Mustang controller. Windows can see the controller under its 'Other devices' and under the Storage Controllers in device manager. Windows doesn't see either the tape drive or a Media Changer.

Jun 06, 2019 · The solution that worked for me was to use the native Windows Server 2019 drivers for the Tape Drive and the Quantum drivers for the "Quantum Superloader 3". Install Drivers, (Quantum LTO-8 3.8.0.1), crash on Inventory / Eject. Rollback Drivers, (Microsoft 10.0.17763.292), everything works.
