I recommend lunch at Futagawa, a Japanese restaurant! They offer several lunch meals at reasonable prices. The “Furoshiki-bento” (2,500yen) consists of a main dish, four or five side dishes, and dessert in a three-tiered lunchbox. The main dish is like a rice bowl with one topping. You can choose the topping from among four choices, sliced beefsteak, tempura, sukiyaki, or barachirashi-zushi which is vinegared rice with diced raw fish. Each is very delicious! Another meal is a set of Ishigaki beef hamburger steak in a special miso (soybean paste) sauce (2,500yen). This sauce really goes well with rice! Handmade tofu and steamed vegetables are served for those who order the “Furosiki-bento” or the Ishigaki beef hamburger steak. Another choice is the “Futagawa-bento” (3,500yen)consisting of a variety of dishes, such as grilled fish, tempura, sliced raw fish and vegetables arranged artfully in a three ? tiered box.
