Yamate Diplomat’s House

Diplomat's House is also recommended though it was not on this walking course. It was built in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, as a diplomat's residence in 1910, and then was moved and restored in this space. It is a two-story wooden house with the feature of the American-Victoria style, and is designated as a national cultural asset. Going inside, you can see a lot of beautifully designed furniture and stained?glass windows that create an aura of nobleness. I’d like to recommend the scenery from a room on the second floor where you can look down into the beautiful Yamate Italian Garden.
